Saudi Steel Pipe Company is considered among the leading Saudi companies in the field of welded steel pipes industry since its foundation in 1980.The company has been known as the first manufacturer for steel pipes in the Kingdom and the largest producer of welded steel pipes manufactured by high-frequency induction welding to serve multiple uses that meet the needs of the oil and gas, water and construction sectors in the region and other markets.

The current yearly production capacity of the company is 240,000 metric tons of steel pipes, that are produced by 4 production lines, with sizes ranging from (1/2 - 20) inches.The company also owns a factory for hot induction bending pipes which is considered the largest in the area, where the hot induction bends are produced in various diameters ranging from (2-48) inch to a thickness up to 50 mm.

The adherence to quality appears in the investment in the state of art technologies, which enable the electronic control and tracking of all production stages which enables the operator to control all critical production variables during the production, this contentious electronic control system is a sole element in certifying the products of the company by major oil & gas companies.

The accreditation of the company for pipeline projects (new constructions or rehabilitations) for the oil and gas, water, agricultural and industrial sectors shows the extent of commitment to quality the company possesses.

Mentioning but a few the American Petroleum Institute (API) approval and other international quality certification and environmental and safety certificates in addition to many qualification certificates from major oil and gas companies in the region.

The company has adopted a HR plan that aims to create an ideal environment for the development of efficient employees, represented in the training programs and theoretical studies and practical training for its more than 600 skilled and high efficiency employees, most of them Saudis, where the Saudization rate of 46% of the total number of employees.

The customers list of the company includes oil and gas companies: such as "Aramco" Saudi Arabia, "ADNOC" the UAE and "PDO" Oman and "KOC" in Kuwait and "Qatar Petroleum" in Qatar as well as other companies operating in the Gulf region and North Africa plus the contractors and companies operating in the mechanical Supplies of oil and gas field.

The company also manufactures Casing Pipes (OCTG) for oil and gas wells and has recently supplied large quantities of this product to Saudi Aramco.

The company also owns a broad base of clients in the field of building construction such as fences manufacturers, scaffolding and fire-fighting systems, lighting poles and traffic lights manufacturers. The company's products fit a wide range of applications and therefore meet the needs of a number of industries which include for example agricultural metal structures uses.

The company manages its sales through a number of sales offices in the Kingdom beside the main office in the factory in Dammam.

Sales offices are located in major cities; Riyadh, Jeddah and Al-Khobar, and manages inside the kingdom sales, whereas abroad sales is handled by authorized agents.

The company is committed to environmental and safety rules for its employees through providing adequate housing, which includes a health club and sports arenas for different games and a number of other recreational activities, as well as providing transportation to and from the factory.
