Accounting Manager
Job Description
Cayan is hiring an Accounting Manager to join their Corporate Finance team. This person will be responsible for managing a staff of 4 that work to maintain a timely and accurate monthly/yearly closing of financials supporting 20 + department and multiple sales channels. This position reports into the VP, Corporate Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Actively involved in all aspects of the transactional account entries, reporting, and analysis for US and Belfast entity
- Maintain debt interest and repayment schedule
- Actively participate in NetSuite ERP enhancements that affect the accounting module
- Participate as the accounting silo in all cross functional teams for new product roll-out
- Participate in new business acquisitions and integration of accounting processes
- Manage multi-state sales tax filings including registering and resolving any issues that arises
- Authorize ACH and Wire payments
- Daily management reporting of bank balance and available cash
- Maintain all balance sheet schedules including capital asset, prepaid asset and accrued expenses
- Maintain full A/P and A/R cycle
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Improve systems and procedures and initiative corrective actions

Requirements
- Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Prior experience in the Payments Industry preferred
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, NetSuite , accounting software and databases
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct, mentor, and supervise
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
